So if you have a good product idea or already has a company generating revenue and is looking to achieve sustainable growth and going global, this programme is perfect for you as it is crafted to provide entrepreneurs with the tools and ‘show-how’ to develop and implement strategies and plans during commercialisation and growth stages. It also equip companies that have growth potential to scale and go global.
Coach & Grow Programme (CGP) is not a normal coaching programme as the coaching structure is focused primarily on execution strategies. It is a hands-on business improvement programme and the coaches are someone who have walked the path. So be ready for your coach to set KPIs, suggesting that you revise your marketing plan etc. because these are all the things that might happen if you are part of the CGP. Of course whatever suggestions made by the coaches are in good faith and is for the good of the company. If you are unable to trust your coaches and their advises, then this programme might not be suitable for you.
CGP is open to ALL companies and not just those who are recipients of Cradle Fund.
CGP is open to all tech companies, including those in the bio and green tech, engineering, healthcare and medical devices, Internet and mobility spaces.
The Mandatory Eligibility Criteria for the CGP are as follows:-
- the company must be a majority Malaysian-owned company;
- the core product/ service is technology based;
- IP of the product is owned by or assigned to the company/ entrepreneur, or there is a licensing contract for IP/ Technology from foreign company; and
- the company must commit at least 2 members from the company to attend and complete the programme with all deliverables completed for the duration of coaching (maximum of 5 permitted). The commitment required from entrepreneurs is an average of 1 day a month for 12 months.
Individuals with with great product idea in development and can demonstrate availability of market for their product idea through market validation results can apply too. However, the team must be led by a Malaysian citizen. Only thing to note here is that the company must not be formed. The company should only be formed during the coaching period.
